Tucked away in the Utah mountains, Louland Falls offers an unforgettable blend of rugged natural beauty and peaceful elegance, complete with cascading waterfalls and mountain views in every direction. It was the perfect backdrop for a wedding filled with vibrant florals, heartfelt moments, and plenty of personality.
Getting Ready Moments
The day began with excitement and anticipation as Kylee got ready with her bridesmaid, surrounded by soft laughter, music, and the hum of makeup brushes. She had her hair and makeup professionally done, creating a look that was timeless, radiant, and perfectly matched the elegance of her gown. One of the most touching moments of the morning was when Kylee’s maid of honor helped zip up her dress, her hands slightly trembling with emotion as she fastened the final details.
Meanwhile, Dax was getting ready with his groomsmen, quietly putting together the final touches of his look. One standout detail was his silver suit coat, which added a modern and polished twist to the day’s purple and silver theme. The moment he buttoned that coat and looked in the mirror, it was clear—he was ready to marry the love of his life.
A Purple Dream Come True
Kylee and Dax chose a stunning color palette of purple and silver, with purple taking center stage throughout the entire celebration. From the moment guests arrived, they were greeted with a floral-filled ceremony space lined with purple blooms on both sides of the aisle. If you haven’t been to Louland Falls, it’s hard to describe just how unique and captivating this venue is. Nestled in a private canyon, the venue feels secluded while still being easily accessible. Waterfalls run throughout the property, giving the space a cool, calming feel and adding a gentle soundtrack to the festivities. The ceremony space is framed by red rock cliffs, and there are several walking paths that wind deeper into the mountains for even more scenic views.
After the ceremony, we took a quiet moment to sneak away with Kylee and Dax into one of those paths. We followed a trail that curved through the trees and led to a hidden series of cascading waterfalls—a dream setting for some of their bride and groom portraits. The intimacy of those photos, surrounded by nature, will forever be some of my favorites from the day.
Celebrating with Meaningful Details
Instead of the traditional cake cutting, Kylee and Dax opted for something a little more fun and personal: a brownie cutting! It was such a sweet (pun intended) moment that had all their guests smiling. Brownies were a favorite dessert of theirs, and this playful twist made the day feel even more them.
Their first dance under the string lights was tender and emotional, and their bubble exit at the end of the night felt straight out of a fairytale. With mountains behind them and bubbles floating through the air, Kylee and Dax ended the evening surrounded by the people they love and the magic of the place where they said “I do.”
