There’s something undeniably magical about the Mantua poppy field (located at box elder campground) in full bloom. With vibrant red and orange wildflowers stretching as far as the eye can see, it creates a dreamlike setting for romantic bride and groom portraits—and Zinnia and Royce’s session was nothing short of enchanting.
A Princess Dress and a Poppy Dream
Zinnia looked like she stepped out of a fairytale. Her gown featured soft puff sleeves and full lace detailing that added a touch of vintage romance. The princess silhouette flowed beautifully in the summer breeze, especially against the vibrant backdrop of wild poppies. Her bouquet added a playful pop of color with shades of pink, yellow, and soft blue—perfectly complementing the warm hues of the surrounding field.
Royce wore a tan suit that brought a natural, earthy tone to their photos. His light blue tie echoed the delicate touches of blue in Zinnia’s bouquet and added a refined pop of color. Together, they looked effortlessly elegant—classic with a whimsical twist.
First Look in the Flowers
One of the most memorable moments from the shoot was their first look. With butterflies in her stomach, Zinnia gently tapped Royce on the shoulder. As he turned around, his face lit up with emotion and awe. The vibrant poppies, the dramatic skies, and their genuine connection made this moment feel completely cinematic.
